The Delaware Arts Alliance has appointed Guillermina Gonzalez as the organization’s first executive director.
Her responsibilities include furthering the Delaware Arts Alliance’s goals of creating visibility for and participation in Delaware arts and culture; educating business, government and institutional leaders about the importance of the arts in creating livable communities, enhanced educational opportunities and increased development; and uniting arts and cultural organization in Kent, New Castle and Sussex counties.
The Delaware Arts Alliance was created last fall to serve as a dynamic advocate for arts and culture throughout the state.
