Paul Regan has been named acting director of Widener University School of Law’s Institute of Delaware Corporate and Business Law.

Regan, of Chadds Ford, Pa., is an associate professor and has been a member of the Delaware campus faculty since 1994.

He will fill the vacancy created when Lawrence Hamermesh took a leave of absence through June, 2011, to serve as an attorney fellow with the Office of Chief Counsel of the Division of Corporation Finance at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C.

Regan teaches and writes in the areas of business organizations, advanced corporations, corporate finance and contracts.
