The Mount Pleasant High School Hall of Fame Induction ceremony was held on Friday evening, Oct. 28 – the night before Homecoming – at the Brandywine Hundred Fire Company in Bellefonte.
In total, six people were inducted who had either taught or attended the school. The keynote speaker for the evening was Lt. Governor Matt Denn.
The inductees to the MPHS Hall of Fame are:
Frank Giamboy, Sr., American Literature and English teacher at MPHS; deceased.
Kathleen M. Jennings, MPHS graduate.
Tom Lapinski, science teacher and athletic coach at MPHS.
Ron Mask, MPHS graduate.
William M. “Mike” Schwartz, MPHS graduate.
David S. Swayze, MPHS graduate.
