The Bill Burris State Farm Office in Hockessin hosted a Grand Opening Ceremony on Wednesday. The office is located at 7217 Lancaster Pike, Suite B in Hockessin.
The location was accepted into the New Castle Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Hockessin Business Association. Burris and his team took over for Joe Enney, who worked for State Farm in the Hockessin community for 46 years.
Burris, who has been in the insurance business for 22 years, has been in Delaware since 1993. He is a transplant from Eastern Shore, Md., and currently resides in Landenberg, Pa.
