Sanford School freshman Cindy Duan (in white), the defending state champion, defeated Tatnall School’s Bailey Flanagan 6-0, 6-0 May 2 during the Warriors’ 3-2 team victory over the Hornets.

In second singles, Sanford’s Becky Campbell defeated Laura Saad 6-0, 6-1 and Sanford’s Jeanette Bond defeated Gealina Dun 7-5, 6-1 in third singles.

Tatnall’s Lindsay Wang and Alexis Kaiser defeated Eliza Nelson and Lauren Bond 6-2, 6-0 in first doubles, and Tatnall’s Megan Fischer and Danielle Antony defeated Emi Burleigh and Rachel Vargyai 4.-6, 6-2, 6-2.
