Logan Mitchell, 4, of Brandywine (above) prepares to whack a mole at a midway game during the St. Helena carnival.

Mitchell and several hundred other people enjoyed the rides, food, live music and midway games at the carnival on April 30.

The carnival, which will continue at the church on the Philadelphia Pike in Wilmington through Saturday, May 3, features live music that starts each night at about 6:30 p.m.

Dinner is served every evening inside the St. Helena Parish School beginning at 5 p.m. and costs $10.95 for adults and $6.95 for children.

A casino, with gaming tables and roulette wheels, will be open every evening from 7 p.m. to midnight for people 18 and older.

All the proceeds from the carnival benefit the St. Helena Parish School. For more information, call the parish office at (302) 764-0325.
