LAUREL, DEL. —

On Aug. 5, at approximately 7 a.m., Delaware State Troopers responded to Laurel Auction Block, located on County Seat Road, for theft of a motor vehicle between 1 p.m. and 4:30 a.m.

That vehicle turned out to be a school bus loaded with nearly two tons of watermelon.
