Alfred I. duPont Hospital will hold a free workshop for parents and coaches of children participating in sports activities titled Overhead Athlete Jan. 24.
The workshop will include instruction on exercises and activities that create healthier upper bodies and help prepare young athletes for their sports.
Sports such as baseball, football, softball, tennis, swimming and volleyball carry a risk of injury because of the types of motion involved.
Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. with refreshments.
