With help from the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force, New Castle County Police detectives have a fourth suspect in custody in connection with a Dec. 26 double murder.
Claude Lacomb, 23, whose last known address was a hotel in Newark, was captured on Saturday in Philadelphia, according to police. Lacomb has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and conspiracy. Lacomb was being held without bail in the Howard Young Correctional Institute.
Lacomb is the fourth suspect charged in the shooting deaths of two Philadelphia men on Dec. 26. Michael Thomas, 20, and Keifer C. Wright were shot during what police have described as a robbery attempt at the Harbor Club Apartments on Cheswold Boulevard. Thomas died shortly after the shooting; Wright died a few days later.
Two other men and a woman have previously been charged in the case.
