New Castle County Police are searching for a Newark woman reported missing after driving away from her home Jan. 25.
Authorities issued a gold alert for Liana Barbedo, 43, of the 300 block of Mourning Dove Drive in Newark's Middle Run Crossing community. She reportedly drove away from her home at 8:46 p.m. Jan. 25. Police said Barbedo's medical status creates concern for her welfare.
Barbedo is described as a white female, 5-foot-6 and weighing 116 pounds. She was last seen driving a blue Volvo with Delaware registration toward Papermill Road.
