Planned Parenthood of Delaware announced Nanci Hoffman as the non-profit organizations new president and chief executive officer.
"I am very happy to join Planned Parenthood of Delaware,” said Hoffman. “We are working on exciting new initiatives to help women and men continue to receive quality reproductive health care in Delaware. This is a great opportunity to continue my commitment to ensuring all Delawareans have access to these quality services."
Hoffman has over 25 years of experience in healthcare and human resource management to lead up the operations of the only non-profit statewide organization for reproductive health care, said Vice President of Public Affairs Diana McWilliams.
Hoffman holds a bachelors in nursing from the American University in Washington, D.C., and a master's degree in nursing from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. According to McWilliams, she has managed non-profit and for-profit health care organizations, managed outpatient services and prison health care services, and provided care to mothers and children in perinatal health care.
Hoffman most recently served as interim CEO for Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. She is also a board member of the Biden Breast Health Initiative.
