Q What is your biggest day-to-day challenge?
A Prioritizing. Sometimes taking care of several little relatively insignificant things can add up to impact of one large one.
Q What is the best job advice you’ve gotten?
A Before accepting the job of coordinating Claymont’s redevelopment, I was told by someone familiar with revitalization that this is not a short-term project, it could take years to see the fruits of your labor, and most importantly, other people will notice the positive changes before you do.

Q Finish this sentence, “If I had a million dollars …”
A I wouldn’t have to beg for Claymont funding as much.
Q What did you want to be when you grew up?
A An airline pilot. When I was a preteen, I would be in the yard of our Webster Farms home with binoculars watching the airliners flyover on their approach to Philadelphia Airport. I could tell you the type of aircraft and the airline from the markings. The neighbors thought I was a little nutty.
Q Where do you see yourself in five years?
A Sitting in an outdoor café on Philadelphia Pike brought about by the Renaissance watching the world go by.
