Delaware's bioscience leaders honored

The Delaware BioScience Association held its first annual awards gala on Sept. 25 at the DuPont Country Club to recognize leaders who have contributed to the industry:

Paul Friedman, president and CEO of Incyte Corporation, received the Innovation Award;

Ben Chien, chairman, president and CEO of QPS received a service award;

Ray Yin, president of ANP Technologies, received a service award;

Joseph DiPinto, director of the Office of Economic Development for the City of Wilmington received the Government Official Award.

“These individuals have made outstanding contributions to the bioscience community in Delaware, and their recognition is justly deserved,” said Bob Dayton, president of Delaware Bio.
