The Delaware State Police have arrested two men on drug and gun charges after a late evening car stop Tuesday on I-95.
Police say a Trooper pulled over a white Oldsmobile for a seatbelt violation just before midnight on southbound I-95 near Newport.
Police say the officer believed the driver, later identified as Jethroe Tickles, of Wilmington, and his passenger, Shareef Hargrove, of Newark, appeared nervous and were behaving suspiciously.
After asking to search the vehicle, police say several pills fell out of Tickles pockets. A further search revealed $341 of suspected drug sale proceeds.
According to police, officers found a loaded .45 caliber handgun, 30.5 grams of marijuana, 9.5 grams of crack cocaine and a digital scale used to weigh drugs.
The men were then arrested and charged with multiple felony offense.
Tickles, 30, was committed to Henry Young Prison for lack of $27,500 secured bail. Hargrove, 27, was committed after failing to post $17,000 bail.
