The Delaware Community Reinvestment Action Council awarded Amy Walls the James H. Sills Jr. CRA Leadership Award at its 15th annual Celebrate CRA Luncheon on Oct. 4.

Walls, who is the assistant CRA director for Discover Bank, was given the award for her personal and organizational commitment to the state and DCRAC. She has volunteered with organizations in the area, including as a board member for several organizations.

"As we celebrate what our local leaders and DCRAC have done, we must continue to focus on what remains to be done and how it is going to get done," Rashmi Rangan, executive director of DCRAC, said in a press release.

The DCRAC's mission is to ensure equal treatment and access to credit and capital for underserved populations through advocacy, education and outreach. For more information, visit www.dcrac.org.
