New Castle County Police are seeking a man they say attempted to burglarize a Claymont home on Tuesday, Jan. 26, but ran away after seeing the homeowner.
Police said a 27-year-old woman heard someone knock on the front door of her Claymont Heights home at 10:30 a.m. When she didn't answer, the man looked in her bedroom window and ran away when he saw her, police said.
