Pike Creek, Del. —

Children enrolled in New Castle County's summer camps enjoyed a day of sun-drenched entertainment during the summer camp cookout at Carousel Park on August 1.

More than 200 campers learned about fire safety, got an up close look at horses and played games to teach them the benefits of healthy living at the cookout.

This is the third year the County has held a cookout to celebrate the end of its eight-week summer camps, held at six schools across the county and serving more than 300 children.
