To the Editor:
Today’s middle class is gradually disappearing due to a failing economy, high gas prices and job outsourcing. As a member of the middle class here in Delaware, I have personally felt the effects of this over the past eight years.
Therefore, it is imperative that we hold our politicians accountable, forcing them to truly work for the people. Congressman Mike Castle has consistently sided with the banking industry and against the average citizen of Delaware. Legislation such as the Bankruptcy Bill has been a clear indication of where his loyalty lies. We deserve better from those we put in office.
Jerry Northington is a man who understands the struggles of the middle class and small business owners. He will work hard to make the political system work for every American, not just those who can afford lobbyists in Washington. On September 9th I will support the middle class by voting for Jerry Northington.
