As a young voter in the state of Delaware, and a student at UD, I am very impressed with Congressman Mike Castle.
He continues to work across party lines, focusing on the issues rather than the politics. His moderate views are very comforting, and I can always count on his fairness and loyalty to our state. I would like to thank him particularly for his opposition to the health care bill, and I am sure he will continue to work hard finding the best solution for Delawareans.
After so many years serving as our representative, I believe he will be even more successful as senator. With more influence, Castle will be able to make more of a difference standing up for Delawareans' concerns.
Right now, many young people tend to go with what the media tells them, or what others are doing, but I can firmly say that as a college student, it is Mike Castle who will keep my own interests in mind. Castle has been the voice of Delaware ever since I can remember, and I urge other college students like myself, as well as all other voters to support him in the upcoming elections.
