CCArts volunteers celebrate summer season with splash in Yorklyn pool.

Center for the Creative Arts in Yorklyn volunteers celebrated a successful summer internship season with a party at the Yorklyn pool.

This summer, 60 teen interns ages 13-17 put in more than 2,000 hours helping 1,800 campers express themselves through the arts by assisting in 150 classes over the 10-week camp, held at CCArts on Upper Snuff Mill Row.

Pizza, cake, smiles, and splashes were shared as they enjoyed their new friendships, said CCArts Executive Director Carla Pastore. For more information about fall programming, call 239-2434, or visit ccarts.org.
