Centreville’s annual Holiday Party, now in its 26th year, has become a tradition in the village and this year’s event has expanded to include new, family-oriented activities.

This year’s party, held Dec. 5 from noon to 3 p.m. in Canby Grove Park, will feature free horse drawn carriage rides through the village, pictures with Santa and cookies and hot chocolate for kids in the park.

Also, the Centreville Singers will perform holiday music and the Centreville Café will serve wine, cheese and food during the party, which is hosted by the Centreville Civic Association. Visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item for the Food Bank of Delaware.
