The A.I. duPont High School football team visited the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware and prepared dinner for 70 families dealing with ill children and staying at the house.

The Tigers also donated $1,000 to the house, which is near A.I. duPont Hospital for Children, from their Paws for Pals fundraising program, coach Zeb Blum said. Players collect money before the season and are awarded paw stickers for quality play and character throughout the season.

This is the second year the program was able to donate $1,000.
