U.S. Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.) partnered with the Goodwill Job Resource Center to host a free jobs skills workshop in Wilmington.
The workshop, held Thursday, Jan. 26, drew 130 attendees. Designed to help Delaware residents hone their job skills, it featured an interactive seminar with career coach Yusuf Wilson titled "The Art of Networking: Leveraging Traditional and Social Media Networking Strategies to Get Hired."
This was the second job-search skills workshop hosted by Coons since he took office, and he indicated in a press release that he would announce plans for more events in the near future.
