Hockessin boy awarded scholarship by Xavier University

John Stringham, son of Kelly and Rodger Stringham, of Hockessin, has accepted an Honor Award from Xavier University in Cincinnati. He will graduate from St. Mark’s High School, where he is active in drama, student government and key club. Stringham plans to major in biology at Xavier. All incoming freshmen are evaluated for Xavier’s Trustee and Presidential Scholarships and the Honor and Schawe Awards and award levels vary.
