Delaware Literary Connection sponsors fiction & poetry contests

The Delaware Literary Connection will hold an Autumn Writing Contest that is open to fiction entries up to 1,500 words and poems up to 60 lines.

Any genre is acceptable, and the entry deadline is August 31.

First-, second- and third-place winners in both categories will receive $50, $25 and $15 respectively, and will be invited to read at a future DLC event. Independent judging will be on a blind basis.

DLC members may submit one entry free of charge. Entry fee for non-members is $15 for the first submission, which entitles them to a one-year DLC membership. Additional entries for both members and non-members are $10 each. Poets may submit three poems per entry.

Entries postmarked no later than August 31 should be sent to Delaware Literary Connection, 237 Cayman Court, Northpointe, Wilmington, Del. 19808.
