Bellefonte, Del. —

Goldey-Beacom College inducted two new members into its Distinguished Alumni Gallery and honored the Alumnus of the Year for 2008. They were recognized for their outstanding professional growth and community involvement.

Nina A. Phansalkar Corey, started her career in Houston, Texas with Conoco Inc. as a senior analyst in marketing strategy and planning. Corey also worked as a senior auditor for Deloitte Haskins & Sells and held several other positions before moving to Delaware in 1994. Her career in Delaware started as controller for a company in Centerville. She is currently employed at Wilmington Trust Company as an Assistant Vice President/Manager of Financial Services in the Corporate Client Services Department. Nina was recognized as the Outstanding MBA Graduate at Goldey-Beacom College in 2007. She is involved in many community activities and keeps herself busy by volunteering much of her time to charities.

Roger A. Bain holds an Associate of Science in business administration, a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in Marketing Management and an MBA. Bain started his stellar career with United Parcel Service over 28 years ago. He started at entry level and steadily earned opportunities to rise through the company and now holds the position of strategic accounts manager. Bane is a member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society and the Goldey-Beacom Alumni Association Board. He is also involved with the Masonic Lodge Unity NO.32, and other organizations.

The college also awarded its Alumnus of the Year Award to Karin Pszczola. This award is given to an alumni volunteer whose dedication and sincere efforts have made a stronger college community and helped create meaningful ties among the graduates of the college.
