St. Mark's grad studies at BU's Tanglewood Institute

St. Mark's High School graduate Emily Snyder participated in this summer’s Boston University Tanglewood Institute (BUTI), one of the most prestigious programs of musical study and performance for high school students.

Snyder, of Beech Hill, has studied oboe for nine years. She is the daughter of Rocky and Charlotte Snyder.

Held in Lenox, Mass. Tanglewood is the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO). It was established in 1966 by the School of Music at Boston University College of Fine Arts in conjunction with the BSO.
