Greenville, Del. —

The A.I. duPont High School Sports Boosters pitched in to clean up the school grounds before the first day of classes on Aug. 26.

A group of parents and students spread mulch, trimmed plants and picked weeds around the Greenville school on Aug. 22 for the clean-up day.

Polly Reinicker of Hockessin, a senior at A.I., helped spread mulch under a tree and said she was happy to help the school look its best so it would be welcoming for incoming freshman.

Reinicker said she is excited to begin her final year of high school, but a few extra days of summer vacation would be nice.
