Party until the cows come home, or at least until they go to the bathroom, at Woodside Farm Creamery’s fourth annual Hockessin Fire Company Fundraiser on Aug. 15.

Entrance to the event is free and it will be held from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the creamery, located on North Star Road at Little Baltimore Road in Hockessin.

Cow pie bingo, perhaps the smelliest spectator sport, will again be the main event. For $5, visitors can purchase a bingo ticket corresponding to a square on a grassy grid and win $500 if a cow does its business on their square.

Kids will also be able to climb into Hockessin Fire Company trucks, try on gear and play with a working fire hose during the event and the ladies auxiliary will host a chicken barbecue from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

All bingo and barbecue proceeds benefit the Hockessin Fire Company.
