Concert organizers at Arden’s Gild Hall might have to reconsider their practice of seating audience members come Jan. 10.

That’s when – after two decades and nine releases – Baltimore’s Rock n’ Soul heroes are finally heading up Interstate 95 to bring their unique blend of acid jazz, fusion and Rhythm & Blues to Delaware – and there’s sure to be a whole lot of booty shaking going on.

All events are free. Proceeds support the Corner House Shelter for homeless men, the mission project’s of New Castle and Calvary Presbyterian Churches and Friendship House.

When grass, leaves and garden clippings were banned in the Cherry Island landfill in January, many people didn’t want alternative yard waste drop-off sites near them, fearing foul odors and illegal dumping – both of which have proved to be non-issues.

But now that they’ve been open nearly a year, their faithful users don’t like the fact that they can’t always access them.

Those cost money, so a group of Charter School parents and students have gotten together to raise some by selling gently used clothing.
