Ongoing economic troubles are fast making “staycation” the buzzword of the summer.
Fortunately for area residents, with world-class collections, dazzling gardens, and the rich heritage of the Brandywine Valley, there’s a lot to do close by.
And now, the Brandywine Museums & Gardens Alliance is making the local scene even more attractive with the 2009 Brandywine Treasure Trail promotion – a single-rate admission ticket that gives visitors a way to visit all nine participating venues at a remarkable discount.

The $35 individual ticket represents a $48 savings over the standard single admission fee for all nine venues. The $75 family ticket (for two adults and up to three children) could mean as much as $197 in savings off single admission rates.
The promotion includes a passport, Brandywine Treasure Trail map and prize incentives for those who visit all nine sites.
The program is funded in part by a matching grant from the Delaware Tourism Office, a division of the Delaware Economic Development Office, dedicated to helping travelers with information and resources about Delaware activities, attractions and destinations.
