The New Castle County Chamber of Commerce is holding its 18th annual Women’s Expo on Nov. 18 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront.
The expo features keynote speaker Judith Spires, president of Acme Markets, which is the leading supermarket chain in the Delaware Valley.
It will also include the presentation of the “Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year” award and a discussion panel featuring Jane Bartsch, vice president of 99.5 WJBR, Claire DeMatteis, partner-in-charge at Stradley Ronon, State Rep. Deborah Hudson (R-Fairthorne) and Dr. Paula Stillman, senior vice president of special projects at the Christiana Care Health System.
There will be eight workshops and demonstrations throughout the afternoon and information booths from more than 100 local businesses.
Admission is $70 for the entire expo from noon to 7 p.m., $50 for lunch and the exhibitor show from noon to 4 p.m. and $35 for the networking events from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
