Lee Williams, a former investigative reporter at “The News Journal,” has joined the Caesar Rodney institute as investigative reporter and media director.

His 150 stories about the Delaware Psychiatric Center led to numerous state probes, the ongoing civil rights investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Public Service Award from the Associated Press Managing Editors.

Williams, of Wilmington, has worked as a journalist in two states and one U.S. territory. His stories have focused on civil rights abuse and government accountability.
