Q What is your single biggest day-to-day challenge?
A Trying to get underachieving students to realize that education is the key to their future and to change their approach to school.

Q What is the best advice you’ve gotten / given?
A A coach once told me, “ find something you like to do so you don’t have to work a day in your life.”

Q What is your secret to happiness / success?
A I enjoy making people smile. My son does that for me. Regardless of my day he puts a smile on my face.

Q Where do you see yourself in five years?
A Probably here at MPHS.I know that could change because of the desire for different challenges.

Q What did you want to be when you grew up?
A First Black President

Q Name someone who has had a major influence in your life.
A My mother is my hero, But Dave Needs my high school football coach.

Q Describe a pivotal moment in your life / career.
A The decision to change my major from engineering to education.

Q What five adjectives would your children use to describe you?
A Funny, polite, crazy, strict, fair

A Independent, dependable, lovable, out-spoken, generous

Q What’s your most embarrassing moment?
A Once our baseball team went to a movie and we raced to the car afterwards and we had to jump a 12 inch chain and I hit my foot and fell. We laughed so herd we cried. It was embarrassing but funny.

A Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, President Obama
