Who: Kids age 5 and up who live in the Greater Hockessin – Greenville area
What: A friendly competition between neighborhoods in three events: relay races, softball toss and long jump.
|
5 reasons to go, even if you’re not competing 1. The kids are up anyway – why not let them burn off some excess energy so they might take a nap after the parade? 2. You can pass the time while you’re waiting for the charcoal to heat up. 3. Get your long jump fix now; the next Summer Olympics isn’t until 2012. 4. The Phillies and Mets don’t play until 4:05 p.m. 5. Meet the neighbors – nothing brings a development together like friendly competition. |
