Emmy Award winning actress Judy Gold will bring “25 Questions for a Jewish Mother” to Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach in early August.
"25 Questions" is an amalgamation of Gold’s journey to parenthood while “learning to be a daughter to a nagging Jewish mother of her own” in addition to some primary research. Gold embarked on a five-year journey across the United States to interview more than 50 Jewish women of different ages, ethnicities and occupations.
The end result is a moving and humorous portrait of what makes a Jewish mother … a Jewish mother. The New York Times called it "Fiercely funny, honest and moving." Hollywood Reporter said it is, "riotously funny and ultimately quite moving."
The comedienne is scheduled to perform Aug. 4 at the Siegel Jewish Community Center in Brandywine Hundred and Aug. 5 at the Theater of the Arts in Rehoboth Beach. Tickets start at $25.
